What is a gay massage?

GMN, along with it's family of masseurs, are working hard to reinvent and rebrand the words "gay massage"

Our definition of a gay massage...

Bodywork done in a discreet setting of either the masseur or clients preferred location. A gay massage is a surrendering to pleasure and relaxation. Although a professional exchange, it is often one of the best and most anticipated indulgences. The client chooses a masseur based on the services offered, the sexiness and desirability of the masseur. It is an immersion of feelings, an exchange of trust and established flowing of energy. The gay massage provides a comforting sense of sameness, an appreciation of differences, and understanding. The gay massage is an acceptance of limits and boundaries. It is a balancing act between fantasy and reality and a wonderful way to pass the time.

The session is often intense in that the client is transported through touch, energy, ambiance into their own personal nirvana. Mutual touch may or may not be permitted during the experience. Either way, the massage is a healthy way of pampering the senses that range from softly sensual, roughly erotic to purely professional, therapeutic and healing. The massage experience is an understanding of need and the desire to leave satisfied. The gay massage is a creative way to touch performed by the same sex.

How to Give Yourself a Scalp Massage

There's nothing like a good head massage. Why wait for a partner or therapist? Take it upon your own hands (no pun intended).

Steps:

1) Pick an essential oil which would be good for your hair type. For example, if you have dandruff, use tea-tree or lavender. Use peppermint oil or rosemary oil if you are experiencing hair loss. If your hair is overly dry, use rose oil or chamomile oil.

2) Remember: for every tablespoon of the oil that you are using (olive oil or almond oil, etc.) only add a maximum of two drops essential oil.

3) Brush your hair at first, to get rid of flaky parts. If you have long hair, start at the ends of the hair to prevent breakage. Also brush your hair while tilting your head upside-down to improve circulation.

4) Put a small amount of your oil onto your fingers. Begin massaging in small circular motions near your temples, then move your fingers out over the rest of your scalp. Slowly, add more oil to the tips of your fingers when you need it.

5) After all your oil is used up, place a warmed towel on your head and leave the oil on for approximately 10 minutes.

6) Wash out the oil with a good shampoo and conditioner. (If your hair is very dry, you can leave the oil in for a whole night and wash in the morning). While shampooing you might have to wash twice.

7) Do this regularly, about once a week. Notice the effects as you turn it into a regular routine. This will help your hair grow faster with better scalp circulation.

There you have it. Don't they always say if you want something done you'll have to do it yourself. Many parts of your body can be performed by one's self. Although not as pleasurable as another person's touch, it can be very convenient. And cheaper.

How to REIKI-fy your partner

Giving your partner a Reiki massage is an openhearted and nurturing demonstration of your love. For some couples, it may be a good way to arouse each other sexually. For others, it may have a calming, relaxing effect, easing the stresses from the recipient’s body and sending them right into a slumber pose. Whether you use it for foreplay or foresleep, Reiki massage is a wonderful way to be intimate with your partner.

The basic Reiki hand placements are not used while giving a massage. Reiki will naturally kick in during the session. For instance, you can lovingly give your partner a Reiki back rub:

1. Charge your (preferably organic) massage oils with Reiki energies. Sweet almond oil and jojoba oil are favorites for releasing stresses.

2. Have your partner lay on her stomach on the bed.

3. Cover the lower part of your partner’s body with some warm towels so she will not be chilled.

4. Pour a handful of massage oil in your hands. Allow your Reiki hands to warm the oil.

5. Begin by smoothing your hands in slow, sweeping movements across your partner’s neck, shoulders, and upper back.

6. Begin stroking and rubbing the neck and shoulders.

7. Continue kneading out any kinks or stresses as you move your hands down your partner’s back.

8. Finish the massage by lightly scratching her skin surface with your fingernails in circular or figure-eight movements.

9. Lie down and snuggle up next to your partner.

Ask and you shall receive

It is important to ask every masseur how much time will be spent on therapeutic bodywork and, if at all, on sensual therapy. More importantly, how he defines sensual therapy. You might be on two different pages.

If you would like a purely therapeutic massage, be sure to let the massage therapist know in advance or he will likely perform his standard routine.

Did you know? Up to 90% of m4m massage therapists offer some form of sensual therapy.

Warm Wax Sensation

Many couples are exploring different avenues of massage in the bedroom. One being the tantalizing effect of dripping candle wax on bodies.

Set the mood by lighting Pleasure Chest's Melting Body Candle, then enjoy warm-wax-on-skin sensations.

It has already received a warm reception (no pun intended) by many who have tried, reports ShopOhZone.com, a leading online adult boutique.

You also may want to try Skinny Dip Candles. They're candles, lotion, massage oil, and body balm in one! Just one dip and your skin will never be the same. Unlike candles made of traditional candle wax, Skinny Dip Candles' proprietary blend of skin nourishing ingredients result in a candle that melts at just a little over body temperature (about 102 degrees). The rich, warm lotion is the temperature of a luxurious bath - deliciously warm, but never too hot.

Try a massage product and spice up your bedroom. Hey, you only live once. We recommend shopohzone.com for all your massage needs.

Men Now Trying Body Polishing

After a full-body polish, your skin will look fresh and glowing, and you'll feel energized, pampered, and refreshed. If you're looking for a professional exfoliation session, try a body polish. Here's more about this spa treatment.

Exfoliating at home is effective, but sometimes you want to indulge in a professional treatment. In the same way a professional facial can leave your face glowing and fresh, a professional exfoliating treatment, or body polish, can leave your whole body smooth, soft, and vibrant. Like at-home exfoliation, a body polish removes the surface layer of dead cells that can make your skin look dull or rough. The polish exposes the fresh, healthy skin below. It can also help energize you and stimulate your circulation.

If you’re ready to give body polish a try, here’s what you need to know.

Before the body polish. You don’t need to prep for a body polish (sometimes called a body scrub), though you’ll probably feel better if you shower and shave before someone rubs you down.

During the body polish. Spas offer body polishes featuring many types of scrubs. Sand, salt, sugar, and coffee are popular choices. These are blended with oil or cream and may have an added scent, so your therapist might offer you a choice of aromas. He or she will typically begin by having you lie facedown and will rub the scrub on your back, the backs of your arms and legs, and your feet. (A body polish won’t feel like a massage, though sometimes the two treatments are combined in one spa session, usually with the scrub first and then the massage.) After the therapist finishes your back, you’ll turn over to have the other side exfoliated. For privacy, you’ll probably be able to wear disposable underwear, and the therapist will drape your body with a sheet, exposing only the part of your body that's being worked on. If your skin is sensitive and you feel that the therapist is rubbing too hard, let him or her know — the sensation is different for everyone.

After the body polish. Following your exfoliation session, the scrub can be removed from your skin by a few methods. You might shower off to rinse it away. If your body polish includes a Vichy shower, the therapist will rinse you off on the table. Or the therapist may wipe off the scrub with warm, wet towels. He or she will then finish by applying a moisturizer or oil to help keep your freshly polished skin hydrated. The whole treatment usually takes about 30 to 50 minutes.

Body polishes are often combined with other spa treatments. They are recommended before sunless tanning, both to help you tan evenly and to help the tan last longer. You might want a polish to help energize your skin before a mud wrap or a similar treatment. And polishes are often paired with massage.

While body polishes are appropriate for just about anyone, they are not recommended if you have cancer, a fever, a sunburn, or a skin condition that could be aggravated by the vigorous scrub. Be sure to tell your therapist if you think you might be allergic to a scrub’s ingredients.

Treat yourself to a body polish — it can leave you glowing on the outside and energized on the inside.

The Tantric Touch

People who only vaguely know of tantric massage often equate tantric massage with sexual massage. But while tantric massage can indeed be very sensual and does wake up the body’s sexual energies, sexual gratification is not the point of tantric massage.

The performance of tantric massage ideally has the following goals:

To awaken the Kundalini, which is a very powerful kind of energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine. When the Kundalini is awakened, it radiates upward along the spine and accelerates the body’s capacity to heal itself.

To activate the chakras of the body. The chakra literally means wheel or disc in Sanskrit and it is a center of energy in the body that is located on the spine. It is said that there are seven main chakras along the spine, going from the base of the spine to the neck and head.

To facilitate the body’s healing in the physical, emotional and spiritual sense. Because tantric massage activates the chakras of the body, the ability of the body to heal itself is enhanced. But it is not just the physical pain that the body feels that is healed in tantric massage; even the emotional scars that the person sustains in his or her lifetime are soothed and melted away. Tantric massage also opens a person to unity on a spiritual level with the world around him or her.

The act of giving and receiving a tantric massage is a very intimate act, as it can leave the receiver in a very vulnerable state. Because of the trust and openness that tantric massage requires, it is very important that the giver of the massage is someone that the receiver absolutely trusts and is comfortable with. This is why tantric massage is often done between lovers to enhance the sexual experience.

In performing tantric massage, there are five points that both the giver and the receiver should keep in mind. These points are the following:

1. Tantric massage, just like any form of massage, has physical health benefits and the receiver can derive tremendous sensual pleasure from it. Both the giver and the receiver should remember that tantric massage uses pleasure to open the body to spiritual growth.

2. The giver of the tantric massage should perform the massage freely without expecting anything in return. On the other hand, the receiver of the massage should open him/herself to the effects of tantric massage without the necessity of reciprocation.

3. Sensual pleasure does not always equate to sexual pleasure. A session of tantric massage does not have to end up in actual sex.

4. There is no limitation as to what part of the body can be touched and how it is to be touched in tantric massage, as the body’s sensual receptors are not limited to the genitals. The experience itself can be very liberating. The giver and the receiver, however, should agree on what is comfortable and what is not comfortable between them.

5. Tantric massage utilizes specific massage and breathing techniques. It would be very useful to learn them.

Both the giving and the receiving of tantric massage is a worthwhile experience. It leads to the path not only of pleasure but also of healing, self-awareness and harmony.
